| The Hard Rock Oil Candles you see today have been crafted since 1999. These beautifully crafted oil candles are sold world wide. Only quality materials and hand picked natural stones are used to craft our rock oil candles.
Each rock oil candle comes with a funnel, fiberglass wick and instrument glass wick holder along with instructions for use.
There is a 5/8” thick by 3 3/4” wide glass fuel tank permanently attached to the stone. A glass fuel tank is used so that the candle will not scratch your furniture surfaces and its low profile is hidden out of sight under the stone.
The tank holds approximately 1 ounce of oil and burns 3 to 4 hours per fueling. The wick can be adjusted for flame height.
We recommend pure paraffin smokeless oil to be burned in our rock candles but any lamp type oil can be used.
Fueling
It is easy to fuel your oil candle. Lift the wick assembly from rock. Leave fiberglass wick inside glass insert. Place funnel into the wick hole in the top the rock. Slowly pour oil into the reservoir. Do not overfill. Guide wick assembly into wick hole. You may have to twist the assembly into place. Allow a couple of minutes for the wick to absorb oil. Adjust the wick level to top of glass insert. If the wick is too high the candle may smoke. The candles can be used indoors or out doors safely.
Size
No two candles are ever alike but we do try to keep a standard in our sizing. A single wick is approximately 6 inches. A double wick is approximately 8 inches. A triple wick is 10 to 12 inches. Thicknesses range from 3/8” to 1 1/8” depending on the variety of stone and its weight.

Hard Rock Candles uses the following varieties of stone: Sandstone, Flagstone, Brazilian Agate, Marble, Slate and Granite.

Every rock oil candle crafted is hand inspected for possible leaks and craftsmanship. Please handle all candles with care. Do not carry when lit. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Always use caution when using candles or any open flame.
